Introducing the UMWA Activist Alert...a great new way to stay on top of important issues to UMWA members and families. UMWA Activist Alert is exclusively available to UMWA members and will be e-mailed to you monthly. It will contain articles about our union's fights for the Coal Act, bankruptcy reform and other political battles, as well as updates on bargaining, organizing and more. When you click on the registration link below you will be presented with a form to sign up to UMWA Activist Alert. Please fill out all questions on the form accurately. All information on the form is kept confidential and only used in conjuction with official Union activities. To verify your UMWA membership status we ask that you enter the 14 digit number located on the mailing label on the back of your June 2005 issue of the UMWA Journal. Journals issued before June 2005 do not have the proper registration number and may cause delays in processing your registration. The 14 digit number used for registration is located directly above your name between the # symbols as shown in the graphic below:
